We hired MBA Global Excursions to arrange and coordinate our international residency to. China. and. Vietnam. for our Global Executive MBA Program. MBA Global Excursions exceeded our expectations. Collaborating with our faculty and listening to our program needs, MBA Global Excursions was able to put together a great itinerary of both local and multinational companies in both countries. MBA Global Excursions managed all our logistics and everything couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The hotels, transportation and cultural visits were exceptional. The experience provided by MBA Global Excursions during our December trip to. Vietnam. was superb. Guy Trompeter, our coordinator and valued companion, could not have made the trip more effective. The itinerary he established masterfully balanced business experiences and cultural awareness. All travel arrangements, such as hotel accommodations, group dinners, and logistics in a complex environment, were seamless. His pre-planning and in-country expertise made the trip highly enriching and effortless from A to Z. Guy's leadership in every regard was beyond the expected.  My trip to. Southeast Asia. with MBA Global Excursions in 2007 was like none other. I traveled to. Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. with my classmates for the perfect mix of fun, culture, and education. It was great opportunity to see how business is conducted on the other side of the world, network, and enhance my MBA experience with a unique experience that cannot be attained sitting in a classroom at home. The jam packed trip included meetings with business executives, faculty from local universities, and government officials. Every aspect of the trip was planned perfectly - Guy and his team arranged great accommodations, transportation between cities, cultural tours, unique dining experiences and assisted with planning additional excursions before and after the trip. They were very knowledgeable about the countries we visited and attentive to every detail, but allowed us plenty of time to explore on our own. It was definitely the highlight of my MBA experience. Having the experience of a spring and a fall International residency is a huge advantage to the Global MBA at Georgia Tech. MBA Global Excursion’s leadership and attention to detail during our 2 weeks in. Asia. was seamless, professional and far surpassed the orchestration and execution of the travel company that was used for our South American trip. The quality of the corporate visits was diverse and relevant to global expansion to current business issues and challenges that face today’s multinational firms. The itinerary exceeded my expectations, was well planned and included the perfect balance of cultural and business experience. The opportunity to climb the Great Wall of China and crawl through the wartime tunnels of Vietnam were as exciting as meeting with the foreign executives from Intel and the US consulates. Guy’s local knowledge safely led us off the normal tourist pathways and immersed us more deeply into the true local culture spawning a unique and exciting dimension to the residency. Traveling with Guy was the experience and education of a lifetime and not one that I will ever forget.

We used MBA Global Excursions for an Asia Residency trip for one of our Georgia Tech EMBA programs in 2009. We went to. Beijing ,. China. and. Ho Chi Minh City ,. Vietnam. . MBA Global Excursions did an exceptional job on arranging all the business visits and guest speaker sessions. The business visits were a great mixture of various types of companies such as private-owned, foreign-invested, etc. The guest speakers included officials from the U.S. Embassy, attorneys, business people, etc. Our EMBA students were very impressed by the high quality of the business visits and the great selections of the guest speakers. Of course we also had a great time with sightseeing during this trip. Moreover, I had to say something about Mr. Guy Trompeter, the Executive Director of MBA Global Excursions. Mr. Trompeter was with us on the trip and he was very nice, considerate, professional and approachable. Traveling with him was a great pleasure!.

 Our trip to. Ho Chi Minh City. was a first hand experience witnessing an emerging market that faces tremendous opportunities and daunting challenges. The real world problems are reflected in our business visits: high tech multinational firms showcased the tremendous market growth they were seeing and at the same time highlighted the corporate challenge from the lack of a skilled workforce. The cultural differences encountered in daily life and business practices really opened our eyes as Americans. MBA Global Excursions made wonderful arrangements incorporating business and cultural visits to enrich our experience in. Vietnam. . Lodging and food were first class. The. Vietnam. trip provided a valuable learning experience in a practical way and memories that all the students would treasure for the rest of our lives. It was by far my best international experience.
